Aisling Keegan, Vice President and Commercial General Manager at Dell EMC Ireland, has been appointed the new Chair of Technology Ireland, a business organisation representing the ICT, digital and software technology sector. Keegan will take up her role with immediate effect.
As Chair of Technology Ireland, Keegan will be responsible for representing a network of home-grown and international tech leaders who are helping to forge a digital future for Ireland. Over the coming year, the new Chair will work to create an island of innovation that facilitates the growth and development of the Irish digital ecosystem.
Commenting on her appointment, Keegan stated: “I am delighted to be the new Chair of Technology Ireland and I look forward to working with the other members as we look to position Ireland as a global tech leader. As the home to the top ten born-on-the-web companies, and as the second largest exporter of technology services in the world, Ireland is well placed to capitalise on the digital revolution.”
