Bulgarian Ambassador Offers Overview of Country’s Priorities

An independent organisation working to develop the connection between Ireland and Europe has launched a discussion in the Department of the Taoiseach regarding the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The organisation, European Movement Ireland are running the discussion until June 30, 2018.

At this event, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Ireland, H.E. Branimir Zaimov, offered European Movement Ireland members an overview of the plans and priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency, while Minister of State for European Affairs, Helen McEntee T.D. discussed Ireland’s current relations with the EU and what is to be expected over the next six months.

European Movement Ireland’s Bulgarian Presidency Calendar was also launched at this event.
