PayPal has announced the creation of 100 new jobs at its Global Operations Centre for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in Ballycoolin, Dublin. The positions will be filled by mid-April and will contribute to bringing the number employed by the company in Ireland to 3,000 by 2018 – including 1,600 in Dublin and 1,400 in Dundalk. Currently PayPal employs over 2,400 people in Ireland.

Over the next two months, PayPal will recruit for customer service and team leader positions, including customer support and risk operations. The 100 new roles are for English-speakers, but in addition to these, PayPal also has a number of foreign language roles currently open to interested applicants.

Louise Phelan, Vice President of Global Operations for EMEA at PayPal, said: “I am thrilled to announce PayPal’s further investment in Ireland and its talent base today. This announcement is a strong endorsement of the quality of teammates we find here in Ireland.”
