Chambers Ireland nominates former Athlone President for Seanad

Chambers Ireland has announced that it will nominate Athlone based Fianna Fáil Councillor Aengus O’Rourke to contest the upcoming Seanad elections on the Industrial and Commerical Panel.

Ian Talbot, Chief Executive of Chambers Ireland said: “We are delighted, as one of the nominating bodies for the Industrial and Commercial Panel, to be able to put forward Cllr Aengus O’Rourke to contest the Seanad Elections. As a small business owner and a former President of Athlone Chamber of Commerce, Cllr O’Rourke has a strong knowledge of the issues that face businesses throughout Ireland and that Chambers Ireland works hard to promote. We are confident that through his many years of business and political experience that Cllr. O’Rourke will be a strong voice for the business community if elected to the 25th Seanad.”
